Default First Priorities...

Hey guys...need some solid feedback and opinions on this lil dilemma of mine. So I'm MOST LIKELY going to be getting a job offer in the next few weeks with a sign on bonus. Which means, I will be looking to make an improvement on the stang of course. My dilemma is, I'm torn between fixing the dent over my rear passenger rear well ($800) OR buying two Nitto NT555's ($500) for my summer wheels. WHAT WOULD YOU GUYS DO? The new job would be 8 miles down the road from my house therefore a ton of money every month will be saved on transportation (thank God) and I am trying to save for a beater car. Should I wait and save it for the beater car fund? Fix the dent? Or summer wheels?

God damnit I'm torn about this..

Wheels. Although saving & buying a beater won't hurt either. But you can't go wrong with some stickies and if you making money you can always buy another car. Your car could get another dent in the mean time so then you could just fix everything at once & not one dent. BTW: Whats the new job?

Its doing what I used to do at my old job... in Channel Development working with VARs, Resellers, and Integrators...bringing on companies to resell my companies products/services. Not very glamorous but its a hustlers ballgame lol

I'm torn because I'm going to the American Muscle car show in September and the last thing that I want is for my car to look like SH*T when Teej and everyone is there with their Stangs looking all pretty.

Buy a beater car that gets good gas mileage then save up for the other two things and do them at the same time.

Haha man, if you would only see my car in person you wouldnt say that. lol its not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But I would get the tires first so your wheels will pull attention away from the dent and then fix the dent whenever funds become available. I'd look into a beater by the time november rolls around, but dont hurry on that. find a good deal that wont nickel and dime you to death. So tires first, dent next, and then beater before winter hits.

$500 for the rubbers and hold the extra $300 to put towards the dent. I just threw Nitto NT555's on all four corners and love them.

I liked my NT555's...but I love my NT05's. also thought about trying the invos when the NT05's wear out. but in general, I love nitto tires.

better for what? if you're just looking for good street tires, id get the INVO tires. they are very quiet and do great in the dry and wet and even snow as well. if you are doing like auto-x or anything like that, id suggest the NT05's. but I am kinda thinking I should have went with invos but oh well. the NT05's hook very well and perform great for me.

for you i'd suggest the invo's.

Do you need or want tires? If you do not need tires get the dent fixed fixing the dent will have more long term satisfaction.
If your like most car guys the dent bothers you every time you see it if you get it fixed and every time you see the spot you will be like I'm glad I got that damn dent fixed.
With tires the newness wears off pretty quick
Just my .02
