Just for future reference, the TT kit is a complete manifold, not adapter plates.

But 99 GT vert, I think that those numbers would require more along the lines of race gas, or no? The local tuner to me says that running much over 19lbs boost really should be running race gas, although he could be just tuning every car extremely safe. But that 561rwhp was without longtubes and the tune was done by lund via datalog and email so I dont think the tune is the greatest honesty. But I really think that the 2.3 would do awesome with this setup on a 2v. I mean it will cost me personally a lot less than doing a KB because one of my best friends is selling me all his fuel stuff and his Eaton for $500 and then the intake kit from TT is $2k. So $2500 wrapped up in it and then the tune will be around another $500 so call it $3000 total to run the eaton. Now to swap to the Whipple all i need is the blower and all the necessary supporting mods, the same as if i were putting on a KB and overall it would be cheaper to do it this way than spend the money up front for the KB and then upgrade later. Na mean guys?

lidio at alternative auto tuned my car and he tunes them all to the safe side. he said if he tuned it aggressively and i had the fuel to support it my car would have no problems making 625-635 on pump gas any higher than that he said i would need race gas or torco

I just read that article...good read...but they used TFS heads too remember...so that's another 2k$ added to the mix even if you have a forged short block.

Ok so it will run you 3000 to get just the eaton in. Then you still need to spend another 3500 to get the whipple...

Thats the price of a damn hellion turbo kit. Doesnt sounds like any cheaper of a way to me.

KB Mongoose kit which is rated to 850 is almost a grand cheaper and will get you to the same power level..
