Built shortblock, TFS heads, custom blower cams that wont cause PTV issues, and a kenne bell...if you have the money laying around.

And for the money, TFS really are your best bet. I mean Fox Lake heads and Total Engine Airflow heads are all right around the same price and the TFS are a better design. MHS arent a bad deal, but there is flow left on the table.

That guy designed the mod motors for ford and there is where you want to buy your rotating assembly from. I personally think that DSS is overpriced. Look at the price of their longblocks...

Don't buy things that aren't on your wish list for the car... I made that mistake. I didn't think I'd ever be supercharged so I bought a bunch of useless **** (ie under drive pulleys) that I didn't need to waste my money on. Always be building towards your final goal.

Yea this would be. A MMR 900 shortblock but there are a lot of "add ons" it looks like to get to into the high hp range. The trickflow heads are on the list too...i just need somthing strong enough to hold a big *** kenne bell lol.

Gotcha... I'm just trying to pass along so hard learned knowledge. Like I mentioned, I was very interested in instant gratification, instead of building to a big picture.

Even if you build a slow *** car with a low compression engine, trick flow heads and blower cams because you can't afford the blower yet... it's better than buying some crap that doesn't fit the plan.
