Default Aluminum Driveshaft

I finally got under my car with a magnet and found that I still have a stock metal driveshaft so I think its time for another upgrade, but i have a question...is it worth it. I know an aluminum flywheel is a notice loss in power restriction. Wouldn't an aluminum driveshaft be a good idea based off the same concept?

I recently changed to an aluminum driveshaft, not to improve times but reduce vibration. It took care of all my 70mph vibrations, but did ZERO to improve my 1/4 mile time, the times were exactly the same with both driveshafts. An added benefit is the aluminum is nice and shiny :-)
