Default Possibly sayin bye to the GT Monday.

Well...I found a new car. 2006 6.0L GTO. 6 spd, and it only has 25k miles on it. I've already been in contact with the dealership and they said they should be able to give me enough on my car to pay it off so I don't go upside-down on it. Really hope everything goes well and I can drive it home Monday night.

So...anyone know anything about the 6.0's? Common probs, good mods, etc? Any help would be appreciated.

My buddy just got rid of his 6.0. There heavy as crap I like the seats tho. Take the spoiler off looks way bettr without. U can blackout the back trunk lid the whole thing or just even with the tail lights(talking about the back of the car here). Um I mean with ls motors Heads and cams make a lot of power.

There's only one GM car I would even remotely consider--I had a '63 with a 375HP fuel injected 327.

Traded it for a '65 Galaxy 500 with a 390--and a big, wide, back seat which had definite advantages when I was single and much younger...

The 63's were styling and profiling ! the late models are just elahhh. I think the G8's are much better looking cars.

I was not talking about a '63 GTO--I would just as soon stab myself in the ********* with a cattle prod, two or three times a day, as own any GM except a Corvette.

ohh sh*t did you have the split window coupe?! my dad had one back in the day and kicks himself everytime he sees one on the auction block goin for ridiculously high prices.

anyway, back to thread.. one issue i know of is that you can't run a very big/wide tire/rim combo without some heavy modification. my buddy has a 500+ rwhp supercharged 6.0 that is in desperate need of bigger rims/tires so he could catch some sort of traction, but he has other expenses now that are way more important. the other, as stated earlier, is that its heavy as sh*t. the last problem, and the most important, is that its a GM, nuff said.
