i have a 2004 saleen s281 and i know if i switch the mufflers for slp resonators it will be louder but will i lose the great sound of the saleen exhaust?

I have them on my 03 Cobra, I think they sound great but everyone has their own opinion.

Do you wan resonators or muflers?

I can tell you that the SLP Power-Flo sounds great, LMs and LM2s sound like farm equipment imo.

Alot of people don't like the Loudmouth exhaust, I'm running bbk long tubes, shorty off road x, and LM1s and I've got nothing but compliments on it at car shows and around town. Which part of PA are you in?

thanks guys..i just want anything that i can make it louder without loosing the tone it has now...and i cant afford a whole new system...

Honestly if you're going to change the mufflers its going to change the tone regardless of what you go with.

My friend has an 04 GT with stock manifolds, MAC offroad H and SLP LM1's... Clearest way to describe it, Picture driving by a cemetary, and then turning back around and driving back to it again, don't be surprised if you see dead people walking...thats how loud his is.

u will do anything but lose tone if anything it will get more base and louder if u go wit LM1's its all bout what u want to do. i had stock headers SLP Xpipe and LM1's it was crazy nice.. however lot of ppl say it sounds horrible... well those that didnt do it themselves.... ppl in my town hated me for my exhaust cuz they spent double on theirs and theirs is quiet or just like everyone else's. i go out of town or hang out with my friends at car shows meets and swaps get nothing but compliments.
