Default Calipers off... can't get them back on.....

So I went to take off my calipers and stop my pads from squealing. I took the calipers off, took out the pads, cleaned them, put them back in.

So you know the flanges on the side of the caliper? The ones that you put the bolt through and tighten it up to the bracket? Well... it looks like the inside of the flange's thead is messed up. WTF? These calipers are basically brand new... Can I get these damn things on?? God this is annoying.

is this the front or rear.. if its the rear you need to get a pair of needle nose pliers and twist the pin back.

It's the front. I hope you understand which area I am talking about. It is when you are looking at the caliper, and on the flanges on both sides that you take off. Then you can pull the caliper off of the rotor assembly. THOSE two bolts. I looked in the hole on the side of the caliper, and the threading... is smooth.

im assuming these are on the rears.

it takes some serious patience to re-install the rears at times. i installed the top mounting bolt first and muslced the top of the caliper down until i could get the second bolt in. it was a solid bitch at the time, but still went together fine.

You have to push the piston in. Trust me push it in and they will go right back on
if you keep trying to force it on without pushing the piston you will F up the threads on the slides

Really? How do I push the piston(s) in? A small vice? I don't think that I have a vice
