Default At Red lights

hey guys its been a while since i posted but the last week or so wen i stop at red lights my car will drop down to like 200 rpms and than immediatley jumps up to around 1200 and than bck to 800 what could thss be

IAC (idle air controller)

As its name implies its a valve bolted to the throttle body that controls the Idle RPM and they go bad all the time. You can try taking it off and cleaning it some people say it helps.

It could, is your SES light on?

If it is, get the code read and let us know what it is (the code, not the description)...

i dont remember the exact codes there were 4 ill have to run them tomoro but it as an egr code and i believe an 02 code
