Default Manifold replaced.

Well guys, I swapped my intake manifold today. Went well, no snags other than breaking the radiator drain plug - cheap nylon!! haha. I just have to get the updated alternator bracket (thinking of using LMR???) and then it's done. started the car, no leaks, no lights, all seems well! So I'm glad I did it myself now, since it saved me a lot of cash. Hope to start buying more pieces for the vortech now that the repair is done, and I'm starting to get some more time for it!!!

Yeah, it wasn't too bad. moved the car today, and found that it started leaking when I came back up my driveway. It's only coming out from the h pipe/catback connection, and from right above my front sway bar - which is weird. I think it's because I overfilled the coolant.... Nothing in the engine bay is wet, but you can smell some coolant. I'm going to give it a couple days (at least until I get my new alternator bracket) to see if it stops....

Has this happened to anyone??? Does it sound like just overfilled? What do you think???

Thanks guys

yeah its just the updated stock one - from ford racing. same plastic piece with aluminum crossover. i talked to the guy who got me a deal on the manifold, and he said it is probably residual because of where its coming out, but i would hate to have to take it in to get fixed/figured out, haha. didnt know if anyone else has had this happen or knows anything....

Well took her around the block to see if it was just overfilled coolant. It's not. I have a serious leak somewhere. No idea where - so I'm pulling it all off again (ARGHHHH). It's not coming from any of the coolant tubes I touched during install which concerns me, haha. Guess we'll see what happens. Should be easier this time, though.
