I test drove a black 6-spd. base GT with brembo's & 3.73's. It was way faster than any of my previous Mustangs. It would have blown away my '86 GT with heads/cams/intake mods. I liked it so much, I ended up ordering one.

I think it was a 5 speed but a guy on another forum went from 36x/32x? to 392/36x (hp/tq) with nothing but a dyno tune.

I drove one two weeks ago. I was out tooling around in my Stang and decided I wanted to drive one after all the great reviews on the car. I actually drove the 6 speed automatic. Wow, was it fast. The motor and tranny were smooth as silk. I never thought I would enjoy an automatic in a Stang, but all the downfalls of having one in past Mustangs was gone. Oh, and now I am saving up a down payment because I have to have one. I still want to drive a 6 speed manual, but I really done know which I will choose at this point.

That was what one ran against me at the track last month........bone stock auto. But yeah, the 6 speeds are even faster. I think they have run 12.4 bone stock.

Evolution has run in the 10's with bolt ons and a 100 shot I believe (suspension and bigNlittles as well). Ran 11's without the nitrous.

They are screaming cars, I recently saw a new 5.0 motor on a stand getting ready for an install into a SN95. If the swap happens easily things are going to get very interesting......
