can I just debunk this real quick? Because I just got out of physics....
The point where he is showing the "amp load" drop back down to 5.0 amps is completely bogus!!!!
There is this thing in physics you learn about called "static and kinetic friction." The concept is simple, when you start to push a object (say a couch on the carpet) it is at first hard to move because it is at rest, (static friction acting opposite of force). Now, if you notice that once you DO finally get it moving, it seems to slide much easier then it did before. This is called kinetic friction, which is always lower then static friction.
I just wan to point out this is what they are showing you in this video, and nothing about what the oil is actually doing. If they left the video on hte amp rating of the first test, you would also see that it finally lowers back down to ~5 amps once it gets moving.
That is just static/kinetic friction at work fellas....
