Default Found a Supercharger!! Need some advice

Here is the link to the supercharger:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kenne...item4aa36e9a86

Ive always wanted a kenne bell, the only thing is that its a 1.7L, the new KB's are 2.1L

Do you think this is still a good deal? should i go with the 1.7L or pass.

First need to establish what your budget is for the supercharger project and also need to set some goals. In the end, what power level are you looking to be at? 400? 500? 600?

The 2.1KB has been out for a year or two...the new ones are 2.8H's.

My goal is 400 HP to the Crank. The 1.7L intercooled @ 9#'s Kenne Bell that is being listed right now is selling for $1,360 Dollars which includes all equipment. There is a about a day or so on the bid left, was just wondering if i should be jumping all over this.

Isn't that like 350-370 to the rear wheels??

Probebly more like 340 to the wheels. But this gives me room to grow, ill start from there, later down the line put some long tubes on, up the boost, build the bootem end, beef up the rear end. I dont want to blow the motor up just yet, so i want to stay safe with boost. I know its not a matter of if, but when it will give. I think 400HP to the crank is conservative enough to give me time for a built bottom end.

The same guy is also selling a Polished V2 SQ Vortech Kit for 1200 dollars, 1 day left for bidding, and no bids yet on that item. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
