Default New 5.0 gets procharged

i know i know this has nothing to do with new edge stuff but all of us ( most of us) new edge guys are somewhat intimidated and interested in the new 5.0 since were going to have to mod up! so i figured i would share this with you guys.

http://www.procharger.com/supercharger/blog/?p=185

what does everyone think about this? lower than expected? higher? obviously a well modded ported and pullied Terminator would kill it but i think they should tune one on E85 and see what it does. 140rwhp on 7psi shows a ton of potential and is SUPER efficient IMO

time to save for a forged SB lol

Run more boost and you will be hitting 600 no problem but consider the C/R as well. I say 510 to the wheels on 7 PSI is very impressive. I want to see what this will do with a Turbo kit and a whipple.

IMO.. you need a bigger unit than that P1SC.. on an engine of such potential and that moves over 320 CFM..

Toss a D1 then report back procharger..

^Thats exactly what I was gonna say mang! With it already making 400rwhp stock, throwing on a P1 is kinda stupid, but I think they did it to keep the boost down cus when you put that D1 on there the blower itself wont be in the efficiency range. So its either take the engine into its efficiency range and have it kinda run outta steam so to speak at the top end with the smaller blower, or upgrade the blower and have the blower out of its efficiency range and have the motor huffing real nice and possibly blow the motor just because youre running too much power and maybe too much boost. But I agree with the E85 comment as well. Stuff worked for my buddy running 11psi with his RSX Type-S and that sucker makes 409rwhp...saw the sheets last night. It was NUTS.
