Default what do you guys think

I have been looking for an engine to drop into my 96 gt and came across a cobra engine with comlpete wiring harness, all acessories, manifolds, everything, out of a 98 cobra with 34,000 miles on it for $3000. do you guy think its a good deal, if not what would be a good price to pick one of these engines up for.

Also found a 4.6 dohc that fits a 93-98 lincoln mark vIII that is remanufactured with a 3year/100,000 mile warranty on parts and labor with free shipping for $2400. the engine is a long block.

Which would be a better choice as for as price and ease of installation?

The $3k Cobra deal seems pretty normal. And it would be your easiest option
The Long block is a terrible deal you would spend a crap load more finding all the parts to get that thing into your car.
I paid almost $4k for my 4V a few years ago and it came with everything you say the one you are looking at has

A few things to think about, and Im sure u already have Can you trust where the engine is comming from? Have you ever seen it run/have a garauntee that it is in good running condition? Id hate to spend 3 grand only to find out the motor has problems.

The remanufactured engine with the warranty sounds like a more comfortable deal to me anyways.......

Lol thats exactly how I feel the more I think about it. I would love to have the cobra engine but it has no warranty. I will probably just get the PI motor they have for $2000. they have one for a 2000 gt and one that fits a 2002-2004. I assume one is a windsor and the other is remeo right? would it matter which one i got? I already have the PI intake, what about my coil packs I can still use them on the PI engine right? once I get this in I will look into buying a supercharger to make up the difference in getting that cobra engine.
