I want a one big black stripe running across my whole car the same width as my black hoodscoop, would I need to get this painted on or could I get vinyl created for it?

Any good vinyl place would be able to do it, but by the time you have them make it the correct size so that it fits, and goes around the corners correctly, you may as well have it painted on for a few more bucks because it'll look a hell of a lot better. It could get expensive if the shop you bring it to plans on doing it right... they should plan on clearcoating the entire panels that get the stripe, like both bumpers, hood, roof, and trunk lid. If they're just gonna paint the stripe and not clear full panels, you'll feel a big paint edge where the edge of the strip is, and it has more of a chance of peeling down the road. Around me, the average cost for something like that would run anywhere from
$800.00-$1200.00 minimum.

hey email rocky mountain graphics. i sent them the design i wanted,they test fit it for me, showed me, then made it for me in the color i wanted, they came out great. when installed correctly, it can be mistaken for paint (i got there metallic paint, and it has a reflection like clear coated paint). see what they say - much more affordable than painting,
