Default Stock vs CAI

So I just finished up taking off my CAI (I must smog my car tomorrow) and putting my stock one back on, I'm actually disappointed. Now my car is quieter, the response is slightly slower, and it doesn't scream as loud as it did with my CAI. I know that a CAI doesn't add much but apparently it does contribute in some degree. I was kinda planning on running around with my stock intake for a while but now, I don't want to. Just ranting guys, thanks for viewing.

lol really that much of a difference???? I bought mine with the Densecharger CAI already on it so I have no idea what it would feel like with the stock intake

I wouldn't say a huge difference, but at idle, it's a little quieter, there was a slight loping noise that I loved. I also notice that my throttle response was a little bit quicker too. sigh...

Data log before/after. You wont see really any difference in the numbers. Thats where you cut through all the BS mind games. I said bye bye to all the CAI crap years ago when I datalogged my car over a week or so. Never saw above a 2* difference between my CAI and my stock intake with snorkel in.

Irregardless(hehe I hate that word) I notice a slight difference anyways. I don't care about the numbers and what it does or doesn't do.

I notice a difference as well... I am thinking about getting a TB and plenum simply for the throttle response...

I dunno if I'd ever get those parts, but my car did come with a twin throttle body stock.
