On the bottle 490 and 575. i need to make some changes. need to put a logan on it and long tubes but ran out of money! dont know what it will do at the strip yet, blew a head gasket had to drop the motor be back together next week.
Theres where all your power loss is my friend...you cant get the converter to lock up and that is zapping all your power. Im surprised nobody really caught that. If you dont get your converter to lock, how to expect to get the power to the ground? Thats like a slipping clutch. Get a nice torque converter that you can get to lock.

An unlocked converter losing 20% up top compared to a locked needs to be thrown in the scrap pile. I did a test with Stafford's 4000 stall and we lost ~10RWHP on a ~290RWHP NA motor locked vs unlocked.

IMHO the intake is choking this motor, I don't think it has enough plenum volume for a 5.4 as it sure doesn't have enough for a 4.6 even. Here is what a proper 5.4 Victor style intake should look like and even this one is smallish plenum sized (we made it as big as possible though given the space constraints):

And here is what he really needs if the wallet will allow it, notice the plenum is nearly double the volume:

Beauty here is not just skin deep, its even more beautiful on the inside:

Those sheetmetal trumpets are mega expensive to fabricate and are the most important part this design. Since its all thin aluminum it doesn't heat soak like a thick cast intake does. However its noisy as hell.
