Default Rear end wiggle

Yes, I said it, so my friend was driving behind me and noticed that my rear end would wiggle while accelerating from a stand still. What would cause this?

Its it from a loss of traction or does it look like the axle shifts or something?

I wish it was from raw powa! It just looks like the rear end just shifts from a stand still. It's not from accelerating aggressively or hard, maybe the axles shifting. Hmm sounds like I need to hit up Jazzer for a rendezvous...

im leaning towards blown bushings. my car would do the same thing whenever i would shift gears and my control arm bushings were shot to hell(half the bushings were missing)

Well the rear suspension on these cars doesn't do really anything right from the factory. The 4-link is really garbage. I didn't feel like writing it out myslef so here you go.

"Ford minimizes this suspension bind by using compliant rubber bushings in both the upper and lower control arms. These relatively "soft" bushings acommodate the necessary motion of the control arms during body roll. However, they also permit wheel hop on hard launches and horizontal axle deflection in aggressive turns. Axle dampers (quad shocks) were installed on V8 Mustangs to eliminate this wheel hop, but nothing was done by Ford to cure the horizontal axle deflection. That deflection is responsible for the "tail-wagging" sensation well known to anyone who has driven a late model Mustang aggressively."

Usually when a control arm bushing is worn out realy bad the car will clunk or bang on hard accel in the rear.

^ it doesn't have to be worn out bad to wiggle mind did the same thing and they weren't completely gone. You will really notice it when you change lanes and gun it, its kind of scary.
