That was my thought especially being cammed as well. But underdriving the blower will not produce more bottom end. It will simply produce less boost across the board.

The only way to build/augment torque like that with a centrifugal blower would be to get a tiny pulley for the blower get a "relief valve" like what OXFORDGT had on his car before he got banned.

The graph doesn't look consistent with the mods this guy says he has at all. The bottom end looks really high for a centri car with heads and cams, the hp shouldn't be peaking that low either. Just cams alone had me peaking at like 6300rpm on 10psi procharged. And I made 421rwhp at that pressure running out of fuel and only seeing 14 degrees of timing. Don't really see a heads cam car running 9psi out of a D-1 only making 395 peak hp. Conservative tunes don't lean way the F out up top either.

HOLY CRAP! I didn't even look at the AFR!!! that thing is gonna knock and blow itself to hell lol.

And I agree with the power being too low, MustangMan281's car is a cam-only AUTOMATIC which made 418rwhp on something like 8.43lbs with a safe tune aka (Rich).

Referring back to OP's original post.

Why would you even get a tune or have a car that has the potential to go BOOM if you "pound on it too much"????? It all just seems so shady to me

In all seriousness, all the BS calling and questionable numbers aside, just looking at the AFR. OP seriously needs to talk to his tuner.... Because that top end AFR is running lean like that is playing with fire. If not the bottom end is gonna look like this sooner than not.
