The only difference in mods I see is gears, longtubes, and a tune. He also has the throttle body and plenum though. I say your right at where youre supposed to be. Youre not gonna gain 5-6 car lengths on a similar car just because you have a few more boltons.

boltons dont do much for these cars. welcome to the world of 2v's.

also, other things to consider before you continue the rant:

1) how much gas did you have, and how much did he have? one person on a full tank one on an empty tank can easily be a difference of 70lbs or more.

2) how much do you weight and how much does he weigh? if you are considerably bigger than him (not even trying to call you fat, if your a decent size person and hes skinny as hell for instance) there can easily be a different of 50lbs there too.

3) how much crap is in your car and how much is in his? this goes back up to ^, if he had far less gas, your a little bigger than him, and he has absolutely nothing in your car, but you have a full tank, a trunk full of crap, backpacks and whatever else on the back seat, then you can easily be 200lbs or more heavier than him. and a couple hundred pounds is actually a decent little difference.

and with your gearing, the 60 roll probably didnt help either. try racing him from a dig next time.

dont expect too much man, your not getting really any power w/ a new T/B... esp w/out a tune... and you will def see NO benefit with a 78mm t/b (over say a 75mm tb) without cams or F/I or something along those lines.

You arnt going to "rape" your buddy until you can get something serious in that motor, weather its head/cams, a shot, or F/I

p.s. why are you doing 60mph rolls?
