If originally equipped with "speed" rated tires there is no speed limiter, check the door jam sticker--I think Ford only supplied Z rated tires on the GTs.

I believe the V-6s have a 120-125 mph limiter.

135mph on the 51 in Phoenix. Phoenix has badass roads to speed on. Rubberized tarmac and they're as smooth as 20 year old scotch.

I think there's a video on YouTube out there of a Gallardo doing 213mph on the 202 loop at about 3 am.
