Default 99-04 stalled & shift kitted auto quarter mile

What do our cars typically run with an automatic with a 3800-4000 stall converter, a shift kit, full bolt-ons, and a tune? I also have mild cams, but I would rather have a modest guesstimate rather than throwing the cams in there cause I can already see some crazy guesses.

As for power, I was seeing +270rwhp and 290ish rwtq on a mustang dyno running though the 3650 for a power reference.

Idk about a 2v but...

Im doing a C4 swap within the next week 3800-4200 stall and brake

Mods are full bolt ons, SRA w/ 4.30s, almost full drag suspension, and weight reduction

Ive been told deep deep 12s if not high 11s. But im shooting for the 11s...so we will see

As for numbers my car shoulda layed down around 330rwhp with a stick, so prolly ~300ish with the auto

Well stock autos with full bolt ons and DRs run high 13s and I have read people pick up anywhere from .7-1.0 seconds with a properly set up auto and stall. I'm guessing you will run pretty close to what you run now give or take a few tenths. With the auto you will be way more consistant and when you add more power the auto will really start to shine over a 5 speed.

What gears do you have now? I have 4.10s in my auto and really am not impressed with them. If I had to do it again I would go with 4.30s.

I have 4.30s

I will be hitting it with a 125 shot next year

The stall and trans brake are where you really get the gain from an auto

I have 4.10s right now, but if they suck with the auto I will swap them out for some 4.30s. I honestly would be happy if it ran similar times as my current best of 12.8 na and does so consistently

If your staying all motor id go with 4.56s

Only reason i stayed with 4.30s was because of the nitrous.

Thing that sucks is my best n/a run will be with 26" and i need 28" to make it down the track with spray

I will be spraying a 125 shot very soon. I also have plans for a kenne bell a few years down the road. That is the main reason I haven't already gone with lower gears.

Btw, it will be a 9.5" dirtydog converter so the torque multiplication will be a bit higher than a typical 10" stall converter for our cars

Idk how good dirty dog converters are....

I do kno that the converter is the biggest part for shaving E.Ts and have been told not to skimp on them

I have heard very good things about circle d's and about darrins Bc auto verters (which i believe i read is a circle d)

I've got a Dirty Dog converter and it works just fine.
