Why? Because those cams make good power and have 0 chance of PTV contact if properly installed? Ya that sounds like a bad choice of cam to me also.

I mean if you want that extra 5-10hp that you would get with the CMS Stage 2 cams go for it. But IMO .005" of clearance with those cams is not nearly enough for me to put them in. And what happens to that .005" of clearance as the rpms raise? That margin only gets smaller.

From what I understand, the MHS stage 2s are almost identical profiles as CMS stage 1s. As for one cam company or no cams at all.....get real, any aftermarket cam for our car is worlds better than the stock grind.

Only thing I will add to this is that MHS has a near matching cam spec for any of the others posted here. The Stage 2P has a 225 intake duration with a 108LSA and ICL and the Stage 3R has a 233 intake duration installed at 112ICL. The PTV clearance, warnings and descriptions they give are dead on accurate I am told.
