keep it and get the kb. and if you have extra$$$ put a down payment on a mmr600 or mmr900 so you can put that in later and not worry so much about the Stock internals

Cobra!!!! ...the GT will never hold its value up to a Cobra, plus you can slap a KB or Whipple on it in a few years!

is money an issue? Do you care to pay a little more for the cobra? I would deff get a 03/04 cobra just to have the better trannys as well as a 4v. I would not like the IRS so much though.

The cheaper way to go would just be to kb your gt, and use the extra cash to further modify... But if i had any opportunity to get a termi, i would do it in a heartbeat, I freakin love them

i'd *******MUCH******** rather build it than buy it. Use your creativity and make that GT a monster. I would respect it much more knowing that I built it with my blood, sweat and tears and hard earned money...rather than be burdened by a big car payment for a car already built.

Disclaimer - I obviously f'n love the Cobra, but at the end of the day what really gets my d*ck hard, besides for beautiful women, is being able to say that I built it. Then again, I'm not in this for the next 2 years to flip it around and sell it. I don't think of these things as an investment. There will always be someone out there with bigger pockets... I'd rather put my personal touch into it and make it my own. Just my .02, not knocking anyone elses views on it.

very well put thats the same way I see it. The cobra is a factory beast and the gt isnt so if you build the gt into a beast it would have a different/personal value to it vs the retail value of the cobra.

Cobra and kenne bell? I vote cobra. Reason is because it will have a built motor along with a six speed, 4v, and adding a whipple or kenne bell will be dirt cheap and an easy swap!

Built it bought it blah blah. I bought my cobra and everyone says I bought a built car. The only thing done to it was a 26 spline input shaft, .020 pistons, and the kb. Imo that is not a built car it is just a better platform to start with. I plan on selling the blower and motor in a year or so to fund a teksid motor from the oil pan up to ported heads and cams, with a big single turbo.
