Personally I would rather have the cobra because it is a much more robust car. That and the interior and exterior styling is a lot better IMO.

Also, I don't view buying a cobra as buying an already built car. You're just buying a car that just so happens to be superior from the factory.

There is something to having your car paid off and know exactly what has happened to it since day one though. So I guess it just comes down to what's more important to you.

I am with Purple, in that I like the idea of putting your creativity in and making something unique rather than getting something already built. But, there's no shame in going with a better starting point.

I personally would rather use a 4v to make a monster, so I'd get a Cobra or Mach (I'm saving for just that). Not to mention, the aforementioned cars have better suspension from the factory. I disagree that they look "better" though; I think the later New Edge GTs are sharp as hell. All 3 look great in my book, some are just more rare than others.

Depends on what your goals for the car are. Personally I want to own an 03/04 cobra sometime in my life. However with the new Boss coming out seems pretty impressive, but it's up to you. Your gonna run into tranny issues, etc eventually with cars being 6+ years and older as time goes by.

I'd say cobra, as someone already stated it is a better platform to start off with. It would be sick to surpirse a couple people though with a KG gt....

have you ever seen an 03 in person? a lot different experience then looking at a pic...they blow the appearance of the GT out of the water.
