how bad is this on a stock block? and would it add alot of power to a stock block?

 

You won't be able to run more than the normal power limited to stock internals from meth injection. I my self would stay far away from it it adds something that could go wrong. If tuned right with all the safety switched and warning lights I guess it could be safe but if you run out of meth or a jet plugs say good bye motor.

 

yeah that is true thanks. I was not planning on getting a kit i just dont know much about it and didnt know wht it could do for my motor

 

^^ I've always wondered about meth injection too. I've heard of them used with superchargers, but thats it. Anyone care to give a quick explanation?

 

It is used with fi setups to increase the octane with out running race gas so they can add more timing and run more boost.

 

Also some people just use it as a cooling agent in a fi setup

get meth man you will love it i ran out last night while racing my tuner has it setup to where if it fails it will pull timing so you dont blow the motor my car at the track runs within a 100th of a sec with a stick so it runs much better now i love it

 

Meth injection is the safest power adder there is. I ran it and it was amazing. Never had a single problem with it. If your tuner knows what he is doing and you set it up correctly you will never blow your engine if it fails. My IAT was 40* with 90* ambient and 23lbs of boost. I gained 150hp from it. Great stuff.

 

wow are you serious? so if you go to the right tuner they can get it to where it wont harm your motor if you run out of meth?
