cam install tips?

Default cam install tips?

well I decided to go cms stage one N/A cams. Hopefully it was a good choice but wont kno till they are installed. but anyways the reason I am posting the cams should be in this week and I am planning on installing them nxt weekend anyone have any tips to make install smoother? or tips on maintaining the cams once they are in? and in order to get all the power possible out of these cams what would I have to do? I already have a dyno tune set up at tillman speed anyother tips tho?

Make sure you degree them. If they didnt already ship, have them shipped to Nick's shop and have them degreed by him so all you gotta do is take them out and install them perfecto. It will/would have made things a lot easier to do.

do you have pi heads/intake? if not this would be a great time to do it.

^ lol how many miles are on the car, since your gonna have the timing cover off its not a bad idea to replace the chain

i have 68k on the car not too bad but still alot and the timing chain isnt a bad idea. And yeah sorry about the bad picture thats wht happened when i tried to put it in my signature hahaha

i think it was like 130 or 170 to have nick degree the cams.


your pic isnt bad i can tell now its a new edge, i was just seeing slightly blurry/double that night i had just got home from the bar.

It's $150 to have them degreed if I'm not mistaken?
