NA NPI runs 12.08@114MPH

Its an Eddy/6061 combo, the elbow pics on my site are from his car. Cams are MHS Stage 3.5 NA, he ported the heads himself, stock Mark VIII bottom end other than swapping in a set of Modmax forged rods. 4.56 gears, T45, weight is around 3200lbs now probably. Here is the dyno graph of his motor:
Here are some more details on his build:

It is now officially the fastest NA NPI run as it finally beat Johnny Langtons record of 12.11@111MPH (Johnny is a friend of mine as well) Johnny's motor probably makes the same power though considering he ran his time in a 3800lb Tbird chassis. Once we start getting some cold air this car is going well into the 11's. Its still 80 degrees at night around here.
This Mustang is not only driven to the track, he still drives it every day.

i dont get how you can call it NPI. it has ported heads, stage 3.5 cams, and a different intake manifold. and having the mark viii bottom if its the one with the cobra crank its spinning higher than a stock NPI motor would.

Not really any different than if a 94-98 V6 did some cams, ported heads, upper intake, ect. It's still a single port compared to a split port of later v6s. I'm sure it's at least similar with the 4.6

so i just dont understand how its an NPI gt anymore, the heads are the only thing left NPI but those have been ported probably as much as can be humanly done.
not trying to argue, i'm just wondering how its all still considered NPI for a record? if i ran an 11.99 NA in my car i wouldn't get the record, but everything could be identical except my heads started as PI heads even if we have the same port job.

i don't understand the comparison. your comparing port designs to PI vs NPI thats a huge freaking difference. its not similar to comparing the v6s. NPI means non performance improved. they had more restrictive heads, cams, and intake manifold (thats the part that npi or pi addresses). in 99 they changed it to PI with slightly better heads, cams, and intake.

a lot of ppl are secret about that stuff.... I know a guy that runs a s/c cobra... but nobody knows he sprays as well. You could even inspect the car and never find it. Its that hidden. Just dont look in his glove box ;-)
I mean he could be all N/A, but I mean the obvious 2 "ppurges" at the beginning of the video really dont help his credit lol
