Getting the new 5.0 just makes sense bud - especially if you'll be saving some money on that visa. Go for it!

The new 5.0 would be nice but I think you already answered your question in your post. If your gut feeling says no, then save and fix up the gt. Nobody on here knows your finances except for you. Do what you feel is right.

well usually the guy wants the 5.0 and they have to convince their wife to let them get it. in this case she has already approved, it seems like the 5.0 would fit both of you better as it seems to be a little bigger than your gt, and you'd be saving money by getting it. i say it's a no brainer.

Why are you not at the dealership.....pretending you don't like it until it's time to do the paperwork?

if she thinks the inside of the gt is " too small" then the inside of the 5.0 isn't much larger than the 03s interior. check the specs on it. FRONT LEGROOM 03 41.8"-42.6"
2011STANG FRONT LEGROOM 42.4", REAR LEGROOM 03 STANG 29.9", 2011 STANG 29.8",
FR HEADROOM 03- 38.1", 2011 STANG 38.5", REAR HEADROOM 03 GT 35.5", 2011 STANG 34.7", ETC.... THERE IS A BIT MORE SHOULDER AND HIPROOM. there's plenty more power and its slightly bigger on the interior but not alot if thats her argument with the 03 stang.

that payment is still retarded high. with the info you provided i'd have to assume that your down payment was very small in relation to the price of the car. nobody should have payments like that for a 33k car. i would get out from under that rock as quickly as possible.
