Tell us more about your plans with the car.

Do you want the springs to work with the stock struts shocks for the mean time?

Are you more into drag racing or road racing or is it just a pure street car?

You'll probably be interested in the Eibach pro-kit, althought the rears supposedly have a reputation of sagging after a while.

After ****ing around with several spring setups, I just installed some FPRP B front springs to go with my separately purchased B rear springs so I now have B springs all around. I am very happy with the way it looks and feels on the street. It should also work drag on the strip. I just wish I went this route from the beginning without clowning around and banging up my Bassani X pipe.

They don't drop your car too much but drops it to the way our cars should have been from the factory IMO.

Thanks for the reply, your set up sounds pretty good. How much did the B springs drop it? Mine is mostly just a daily driver, but Ill occasionaly take it to the drag strip. Id like to not have to change the factory shocks/struts. I had a set Of H&R springs on my cobra before I got this car, it looked awesome, but rode horrible. I think they were 2" or more. I also had CC plates and shocks/struts. So this time around Im looking for a nice balance, Id like to lose the 4x4 stance, but still ride decent. Id like to end up with 1-1.5 " drop.

If thats the case, I think you'll really like the B springs. They are 425-530lb/in progressive in the front and 200-300lb/in progressive in the rear.

I once read that 04 GT's came with a slightly revised ride height from the factory and I am 99% convinced it is true because I have seen lots of stock 04 GT's like mine and they sit nothing like how high the previous years sit.

As it sits right now, my rear ground to fender is a tad under 28" and this is with Prothane polyurethane isolators so it's a bit thicker than stock however not as thick as most other poly iso's. The fronts sit about 26 7/8" at the moment with stock iso's so it pretty much dropped as advertised. So all in all I dropped about 1/2" in the rear and 1 1/8" in the front. Again, if you use all stock iso's then the rear will drop a slight bit more compared to my car.

They give a slight rake to the car which I personally like. If you don't like it and think the rears sit too high, you can always trim off a bit of the dead coil later on. In fact they were designed to be trimmed a bit if desired.

You definitely won't need CC plates with a drop like this although it never hurts to eventually get your allignment perfect. I do know that the springs work great with stock shocks/struts and will work great on the dragstrip.

Im running the FR M-5300-C springs. Advertised as a 1" front 3/4" rear drop. I also installed poly iso's (energy suspension) with it and it handles like its on rails with KYB shocks. Heres a pic of the stance. Its a little older and done right after the work before it had a chance to settle better.

All KYB shocks, struts, springs and iso's cost me under $500

I had Eibach sportlines, can't really complain. I had caster cambor plates though, they may drop it too far to not use them.

I currently have Eibach Sportlines on my Ford Mustang.
I really like the Eibach Sportlines since the drop is just what I wanted
and handling and traction has greatly improved since I install my
springs. The Eibach Pro Kit or Sportline springs are both excellent choices.
I had to get caster camber plates though and I had to get a alignment also.
After your springs settle definitley get a alignment from a reputable
shop.If your struts and shocks are worn out replace them too.
Any drop over 1.5" caster camber plates are highly recommend so,you
can adjust your alignment correctly.
