Default Please Help, Serpentine Belt Issues

Okay, so I have been working 80 hours a week on my thesis and at work, I'm barely getting by right now, I have no time to go out and fix this **** myself.

I had an earlier thread in which I asked which belt I needed to install with a 3.6" pulley, or even a 3.4" pulley.

Both the results that were given to me were huge when they were installed, so they can't be right.

When the car was fixed, the Part number they put on my reciept for the Serpentine Belt is 4061098, which fit okay, but had major issues.

The outside Circumfrence of this sucker is 109.375" according to the Gates catalog, or or 109.44" from the Napa catalog.

It also seems that after searching for the interchange 4061098 brings me to the 4061099 Belt, which has an outside circumfrence of 110.5" (according to both catalogs)

when I got the car back, the belt had major slippage at anything above about 3500-4000RPM under boost, and with the AC on it slipped until it warmed up, (hardcore slippage).

I'm really loosing patience with this thing, but after looking at it, it was clear there wasn't THAT much slack in the line, so I didn't want to shorten it too much.

I was thinking the length 108.771" has got to be damn near perfect don't you guys think?

Also, I will reward with more nudes of my ex (new and fresh, not the ones you've already seen to those who got my earlier PM) to those who help.

I guess I have two options.

I can go with the Gates K061080 or I can go with the gates K061075

The K061080 has a circumfrence 1/4" larger than the k061075.

I'm leaning towards the 1075, but not sure.

I wouldn't be suprised if the real issue is you're belt tensioner it may have failed causing you're belt slippage. I beleive replacing the tensioner and running the factory spec belt will fix you issues. Now please PM the pics lol

I used to use a 107.9 and I had a much smaller pulley then you but I also had a 10% o/d crank. I think somewhere close to 109 would fit yours perfectly. Like the other guys said check your tensioner. Thumpr is a great investment.

Yeah, I know, I know

The problem was I believe I did get the 1098 (109.44") belt, which was slipping. The tensioner seems to be fine, so I know it's not that, so I think going with the 108.711" one will solve most of the issues.

It wasn't slipping a ton under normal circumstances, it was anything above about 4000RPM IFF (if and only if) the car was under boost.

and guys, I'll send out the PM in a little bit
