Default Tinted the tail lights on the stang *PICS inside*

hey guys, i just got done tinting the taillights on my mustang. it turned out pretty good. I used rustolem lense tint since the pepboys was out of vht nightshade. i have used vht nightshade on my friends car, i liked the vht a little better though. Check out the pics and let me know what you guys think!

Supplies Used:
-Rustoleum Lens Tint
-Krylon Clear Gloss
-Meguiars Plast X polish.
-1500 grit sand paper

i cleaned the lenses, applied 3 coats of the lense tint, then about 4 or 5 coats of Krylon Clear Gloss. Then i wet sanded them a bit with the 1500 grit, then i polished them up with the Meguiars PlastX polish on them and it brought the shine out a little bit.

Pics:

Before-
(dirty as sh*t)

Supplies-

My 3rd brake light had a little bit of sun damage so i hit it with the PlastX to try to polish it up a bit, it worked great!

Final result!

lemme know what you guys think!

In the pictures it has more of a matte finish, which if that's what you're going for, it looks pretty sweet.

I personally prefer them to be shiny (I like shiny things) so I forked over the cash to have them professional sprayed.

Default Police?

I always thought smoking the tails was cool, and was considering it, but people tell me it attracts cops like moths to a flame, and also some said its illegal?? So what im trying to asks is "Do you get increased attention from cops for the tail lights?" Thanks.

I wonder if you put a layer of clear coat on them if that would shine them up. I got mine off ebay and the finish is like a mirror.
