K&N Intake: Is it really the best intake for the mustang?

Well to get more interest you may want to find a stock intake tube and then try all the different filters offered. People have the JLT intakes, but most people know that they don't do anything other than seeing a being easier on the eyes than the ugly stock rubber one.
If I was to do this test, I would test them on a stock intake tube. Then do it all again with the JLT you have. This way you can see real number from JUST changing the filter and then if you change the intake tube. Assuming you keep all other parameters/conditions the same. Since we all know heat kills power, so if you dyno run 1 filter, switch it and run another and another etc, you won't get legit numbers. Due to the heat cycles, the results won't be accurate.

i had a fancy bbk cai on my car when i bought it. i actually just replaced it all with the factory intake tube and filter housing, with a k&n filter. I didn't notice any difference in power, on the butt dyno anyways lol. the chromeness of the bbk just wasn't for me, i want the stock look. .
