Default Supercharger/ fuel level

Question. Ive been told by a few that if you supercharge a gt and you dont have a cobra fuel tank with the baffels in it that you should treat 1/4 tank of gas like its empty bc of fuel slosh I guess. Is this true or is it just shop talk. Any input would be appreciated. If you are superchaged without a cobra tank do you need to gas up eveytime you hit 1/4 tank?

i belive if you have either a ford gt pump or cobra pump then yea something to that extent, or drill holes in the basket to allow more fuel in there so it doesnt suck dry at wot

It's not about the supercharger, it's about the size of your fuel pump. If you are running a higher volume pump, you'll want to make sure not to starve it at any point.

At what level of boost? Extreme boost I could see that but a stock GT wouldn't handle that many pounds. Curious as this line of thought is new to me.

Or you could just sump it?

And as a general rule of thumb (if you have a pump in tank) you should always gas up at a 1/4 tank anyways as the fuel cools the pump. Running it lower burns the pump up.

If that was true, I would have burnt up many pumps in my time.

So that was false info about treating 1/4 tank like its empty? Its just the walpro fuel pump that comes with the v1 s-trim kit.
