I have them on my car. They have been on for over 2-3 years now and still sound good.

I agree that it is best to just buy a new mid-pipe, but I did have a MAC ProChamber modified from stock configuration to fit my long tubes. That is an option if you don't have time to order one. I bet you could have one at your door in two days if you ordered it first thing in the morning.

You will like the long tubes! They flow better than stock manifolds and they sound a lot better as well.

Everything I've ever read tells me they are the best "affordable" longtubes out there. I would love to run them but I can't thanks to California

I'm planning on running MAC longtubes and a VRS o/r X in the spring.... I've heard nothing but great things about both the headers and that shorty X pipe specially made for the mac longtubes by VRS. The sound that longtubes give is unmatched IMHO.

That's cool as I have "heard" that other brand mid pipes have fitment problems with Mac L/T's
I just stuck with the Mac mid pipe for that reason

Edit: forgot to mention, when it comes time for De inspection I use a bud's BBK (of all brands) catted mid pipe and it fits perfect

I shortened my stock midpipe and made a shorty o/r h pipe. Dont know if you have the welding experience though. Its a little bit of a job but it can be done.
