Your gonna need a different mid-pipe, one that fits L/T headers

Dont be cheap, you can get a midpipe for about 100.

might need to drive it with open headers then, haha

def worth it if the engine is out the install is a bitch with the engine in, most have to drop the k-member and install from under it (thats what i did anyways). power gains are pretty good less upper end and more mid rpm gain, so you wont gain a peak per say but youll get a more usable range. Long tubes are designed to work the best at a mid range rpm vs stocks at low rpm for fuel economy.

Oh yea, you will also need to get O2 extenders. or be cheap like me and just use from extra wire to add about a foot onto wire onto each wire.

the sound you'll get its awesome, almost worth it on its own.

actually ive seen several pipes for shorties modified to fit longtubes. any exhaust shop should be able to do it. its just not worth the money to have it done - but if you are out of options and have no time to get one thats made to fit.....
