i ended up ordering the ford oem cable from MM along with their firewall adjuster and quadrant...i called ford racing and described my firewall adjuster and quadrant to them and they told me i definately dont have FRPP parts, aggravated i called the installation place and they claim they used ford parts...when i remove the garbage they put in there i will be returning to them with a receipt and an attitude and maybe theyll throw some sort of compensation at me when i prove to them they charged me for ford parts and didnt give me ford parts...ill let u know how the MM stuff is =]

All you needed was the cable, however I understand you aggravation and may likely have done as you have.

When you get the stuff you have out grab some photos of the quadrant and adjuster--I'd like to see what you have, as I said triple-hook is likely UPR or an eBay clone...

ill definately take pictures for you....i went with the whole kit because i was interested in possibly getting a new firewall adjuster anyway, as i had a minor issue with it a while ago, and at that point i may as well get the whole kit. it like skipped threads and came loose, i had to readjust it to be able to even drive it, it was so loose.... i understand this normally wouldnt be a problem with firewall adjusters, so i have a feeling that the firwall adjuster, along with the quadrant were bought at a local parts store, and are not reliable parts...i just dont trust my current equipment, hopefully the parts can be identified by someone when i post the pics online

Piece of mind certainly has a price tag. If you can't trust the parts, they don't belong on your vehicle.
