+1 on this. And it seems like it is always the same old threads. It is getting pretty boring around here. ( i know i had a couple boring nitrous threads the past month but all my questions are answered now) haha

Take a break for a while, like I did. I think this was my 2nd or 3rd break outside of getting banned for those couple days. :0) Sometimes it's needed. Also a lot of times we think it's other people that are driving us crazy it's really ourselves just getting board. (Not that there aren't some real knuckleheads here sometimes.)

I'll give a stupid analogy that is based in science. Has anyone ever noticed when they drink A LOT of caffeine, that every time you take a drink of your coffee or soda, it starts to taste bitter? The bitter flavor is actually your body telling you that you have had enough. Caffeine is actually a Toxin that's produced by some plants too keep animals from eating them. Too much forums is like that bitterness of caffeine.

The bitterness is a lot different than Hoss's saltiness, lol.

 

I feel the same why. While I don't contribute the expertise like you do, I enjoy reading your post for the sake trying of trying acquire the expertise you have. People like you are appreciated on this forum, but also taken for granted sadly.

Another reason I hang around here is for the expertise you have... along with a few other memebers...

The basic questions are going to be the nature of the beast with a forum. If it's just us old timers around, we'll forget where we parked and the forum wont have anything to say. )

Think of it this way, when you answer these basic questions, you help make the day to some mustang noob. Encourage the hobby and you could possibly make a future forum guy who steps up to answer the basic question so you don't have to. ....or crush his little ricer dreams. Either way it can be win/win depending on your perspective.

If the noob questions really bother you guys try this, As they start to pop up, Create a NOOB folder at the top of your Browser. As you find the perfect tech threads or individual posts (Like the type from Cliffk or other tech talker & sense speaker) and label them for quick reference. This way here you don't have to rewrite the same old same old and you become someones hero.

...just make sure you tell them not to bring up a two year old thread, lol.

Let me tell YOU about the problems I see about some I'm the MF community. Newcomers (NOOBS) are almost never welcome here. They (I guess we) come, ask questions, give tips, interact with people, but are almost ne'er welcome into the 'cool guy' club. If ever there is someone who doesn't know something there are people who pounce on the opportunity to belittle and emasculate the person. Sort of like when I didn't know that coilovers make adjustable LCA'S null and void.

The people that I 'talk shat' to are the people listed above because i have seen yh do it to one another and often times others. I didn't realize the general populous' skin was so thin that I turned into the red headed stepchild.

Apparently I have overstayed my welcome.

 

LOL you dug your own grave on that thread. Like 3 diff people told you the 2 reason why they dont really work and you kept acting like there was some grand secret reason nobody was telling you. A simple visit to griggs website or a place like that would have told you the same thing.
