Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. haha. using the same trick on my old truck, the engine died in about 20 seconds. I noticed I have a CEL now, I assume it's from disconnecting the fuel pump and will go away on its own? Should I just get it over with and disconnect the battery? I'd rather not reprogram my radio if I can avoid it. I just got it how I want it. haha
Ugh, I stink of gas so bad. Got it all over my face. Glad I found some safety glasses.
Ahh, the previous owner of mine installed aftermarket fuel rails. I couldn't find a schrader valve on them. That must be why it only took 20 seconds for my old truck to die, I relieve most of the pressure from the schrader valve.
