You left it pressurized when you did it? Bet that was an unholy mess.

No I released the pressure from the schrader valve on the fuel rail. You don't need to flip the interia switch to swap out the fuel filter.

I too got a some fuel on my face. It was lovely.

Ahh, the previous owner of mine installed aftermarket fuel rails. I couldn't find a schrader valve on them. That must be why it only took 20 seconds for my old truck to die, I relieve most of the pressure from the schrader valve.
