lol

That sucks. I changed mine last month and spilled some on the mid pipe as well. Filling up the transmission through the shifter is much much easier than trying the fill hole on the side of the transmission with the transmission still in the car....holy **** those 10 dollar hand pumps blow donkey nuts. Found out the hard way. Was able to get the plastic hose into the fill hole and started pumping like mad...but the cheap hand pump likes it slow and gentle, so after gently pumping for almost a minute I had realized not even half the bottle had been emptied (more like maybe an eighth or quarter)...ridiculous.

If you let the stuff dry a little bit, you will most likely smell it for at least a few days to come. Enjoy!

I took a shower as soon as I finished so with any luck the smell wont stick to me too bad.

Lol Im glad I decided to change it when I put in my shifter.

we had a 97 F150, not a bad truck but its REALLY underpowered...

nothing like my 95 F150 with the 5.0...

we also had an issue with it going through like 3 sets of intake gaskets too...
