you will never, ever, see me use seafoam on any of my cars. if you think a smoke show is "cleaning" stuff...cool, by all means. Im no scientist but I nevr had the urge or inclination to run it.

Hmm, interesting. I've just never read so much negative press on it. Are any similar products recommended? What do you do about carbon deposits and such?

I havent had anything bad happen yet but remove the boot from my throttle body open the throttle body plate and spray carb/intake cleaner in there for three seconds or so then turn the key enough for the motor to turn over but not start and after it sits for around 2min or so I start the car up. It usually sounds like it wants to stall for about 8-10 seconds like its almost flooded then the idle clears up. After that i rev it a few times then let it run for like 3 more minutes or so then shut it down. I do that like twice a year on both of my vehicles. I figured ppl use to spray carb cleaner down the throat of the carb and rev it a bit to keep it from stalling so I just kinda figured this would have the same affect. I could be wrong though. But thats what I do instead of dumping a few ounces of seafoam into my intake.
