I picked mine up for 650 bucks with little bit over 10,000 miles on it. I was also scard but got a good deal. If you want a loud S/C the V1 will most def make you happy..

 

 

So yeah I had a bitch of a time with the mounting bracket for the Vortech and realized I needed the Vortech pulley that I don't have. Awesome on that. That's coming from Summit. And I realized I need a 3/8" punch that I don't have either. Ugh. Trying to get it on the dyno this weekend.

I'm having a hell of a time finding a bracket too. Haha

 

I have a bracket, just took me awhile to figure out where it all mounted. I felt like a dumbass.

 

trust me i know EXACTLY how you feel . Haha I was staring at the bracket and my motor for like 30 minutes.

 

Picked up a 98 F150 tonight. 155k miles, 5.4L.

Its been raining its *** of and I'm going out of town till Sunday, so you are just going to have to wait.

Its black, extended cab. Body is in ok shape, some dings and and a fair amount of scratches.

All of the front control arms were replaced recently and brakes all around.
