...say, do you know how to replace the window regulator motor? I'm thinking one went out on ours and after taking the door panel off and pulling back the dust shield, it kind of seems like a pain in the *** to remove the regulator motor but the dealer wants 530 bucks out the door to do the whole job.
but you can do it yourself. Spend a whole day and take it all apart and don't be afraid to completely remove the plastic to make it easier.
I agree he shouldn't have acted the way he did but Harbaugh needed a pop in the mouth for acting that way.
A drill and you'll need to use rivets to re-install. Are you sure the motors out or have your window seal/trim gummed up with grime and is holding it in place? The way to tell is grab the window on each side like your praying and holding a piece of paper and help it up or down. If it moves or doesn't make some horrible noise your border is just stuck.

What happened was I was driving with my mom when the window (was open a few inches) just dropped with a loud THUNK/CLACK towards the bottom of the door. At this point, I can move the window up and down (I think the motor is disconnected) but to get it to stay up I would have to put something in the door to hold the window up. It still looks like its on the track though and from what I can see, no damage to the glass.
New regulator motor should come in the mail tonight or tomorrow...I'll see what happens.
So I went to Laguna Seca this weekend to Rennsport. It was ok I guess, Lot's of nice Porsche's but the crwod was way older than I would've liked it to be. Lots of jazz music and not really any hot girls lol. Here are some pictures, enjoy.
