FML motor went out of my DD today, valves in bank 2 dropped and the timing chain let go, now i am trying to decide wether i want to buy all the parts and waste my time building it back or trying to sell it for as much as i can get out of it and then try and find something cheap to drive around in

 

I hear ya man. My jeep is running rough.. the "Output drive shaft" sensor went out. Hopefully it isn't something else. Guess what I'm spending my thanksgiving break doing, besides changing my mustangs oil, my jeeps oil, my gf's M3s oil, flushing her M3s radiator...

Its a 94 mercury sabel, the valves dropped and i spun a rod the new longblock should be in next week. The reason im even bothering with putting a motor in it is i just put a new trans in it 10k miles ago so now i should have a car that SHOULD last atleast another 80k miles.

 

Ahh, man that sucks. I know how you feel. I just put a new rear end into my jeep, so I'm locked into it for a while. Hope all goes smoothly.

 

Has anyone seen any deals for tires advertised for the holidays?

I am looking to get 285 or 295 Nitto Terra Grapplers but Jesus tires are expensive.

Cheapeast place for the 285s is dicounttire for $820 out the door and for the 295s I think NTB is cheaper but IDK what the out the door price is on those. It is $912 plus whatever else they want to charge me for

 

You can buy my 285/75/16 falken rocky mountains with Ford 8 lug aftermarket wheels for 900 and then sell the wheels for a couple hundred
