I was told all sensors amd EGR system
Replace only what's bad. My car is a 98 and it has original just about everything under the hood. Get the car running then you can figure out if anything else is bad

And I agree with Doug this forum is getting more and more boring as the days go by
Reason I don't come across is much anymore. I've been part of other forums. Favorite is mustangjunkies.net.

Little high on the price I paid 20,500 for mine 3 years ago with a 2.8 kb on it. Also I would find out why it had a 5 speed in it.

12k miles for an 11 year old car with all of those mods? - roll cage, full fuel system, KB, thats not even enough time to have fun with all the money dumped into it. Very likely that car has a story to it.
IMHO, hood is horrendous, scratches on the front bumper and curb rash on front wheel.

I'm sure the car absolutely rips but I'd be careful. I don't mean to sound negative at all but 24 thousand in scratch is alot of cash to pony up for an 11 year old muscle car with a questionable history.

^I agree with that guy.

Could be some hidden gremlins in his story, or he could come up on "hard times" and needs to sell it.

There is more to buying a car and not JUST about the ad. You need to factor in WHO you are buying it from and WHY they are selling it.

I wouldn't touch that car with a 10ft pole if it was coming from a kid under 20 years old...I would be iffy buying from a 20-30yr old...and would feel better buying from a 30+ year old.

I would ask for recipts of ALL the work done, WHO did the work etc etc. For all you know Joe Shmo tossed it together half assed and now you have a potential ticking time bomb.

Look at it this way...tally up all the money into that car (brand or parts and if he did the work plays a role) then look at how much his asking price is. With 12K mi it is a "fresh" car, but it was clearly built to beat on/race unless he had all this money and just wanted a "cool car with mods".

If it was me I wo uld find a decent 94-04 car with a good body for around 4-5k, then have 20k to build a sick nasty ride and at the end of the day it would be a monster and It would be something I built myself.
