Default '97 GT Foglamps, cosmetic or function?

Are the 97 mustang gt foglamps just for looks or do they actually work? if so where/how do you turn them on from? I tried the headlight **** and nothing. Took a look around and dont see anything else that might turn them on.

Well I would think there is a fog light button. Are they factory or aftermarket? Are the bulbs blown?

For some reason on some cars the fog lights and wiring is there but the fog light button is not installed on the car. The spot that the button goes is where one of the coin holder in the center counsel is. Remove one of the coin holder see if you can find the wiring plug get a switch and plug it in. It might be easier if you remove the tray that is in the center counsel
