Lowered!!
Now that's a drop fidel! That's what i'm talkin about man... haha -- We look about the same lowness up front, but i am SLIGHTLY lower in the back... The back of these cars is really where the ride quality comes from... You could hack off 1.5 coils up front and leave the rear stock and the car would still ride pretty damn well.. Once you start hackin the rear, that's when the ride starts getting rougher. But throw those tokico blues on and me n you will basically have the same exact setup, minus the fact that i have MM CC plates to allow for more travel.
Thanks aereon! That's a big compliment comin from you!
tdcalhoun - i'm running tokico hp's on all 4 corners (i actually think they are foxbody dampers, therefore allowing more bump travel)... and i am running tokico springs up front (#680 spring rating linear) that we cut about 3/4 coil. and i picked up a set of #250 linear rate mach 1 springs in the rear that we cut 1.25 coils... I have a set of 03 cobra coupe bilsteins sittin here that i need to install soon, but idk if i am going to seeing as how my car rides fine now...

Actually hpwrestler your car and cut springs are what motivated my to do so on mine. You right about the comfort being in the rear cause I cut the front on a friday and the rear the following saturday and that's when I really felt the harshness. Looks like all I need is a Saleen wing and we'll be fraternal twins!
You'll need to get DD rear wheels too!
How did you cut the springs?
Once you install the tokico's, the ride will be better... The only thing that sucks is that you have a lighter spring rating then me so your car may want to bounce more... But try out those tokicos and let me know how it goes.

Lemme tell ya somethin.. I had tokico progressive rate springs on the rear of my car with a #250 spring rating and although it rode very nice, my car BARELY lowered and my passenger side rear tire got chewed to pieces...
Luckily i was still able to use my brand new tire on the side that was rubbing, but for a 1" drop out back, i couldn't figure out why i was rubbing. I ended up figuring out then when i had the old springs in there and i would go up a steep driveway, i would have to come in at an angle. When i came in at an angle, it would cause one side of the axle to move up and the other side to move down. That's where my rubbing was coming from.
Needless to say, my buddy had a fender roller and we heated up the fenders and rolled them. NO MORE PROBLEMS!
No problems at my current ride height either.
And yes, 315/35/17 on 10.5

As far as a 180º roll, i rolled them even farther than that in some spots (i rolled them up and they curled in--almost exactly like this parenthesis looks on the side of this comment lol). If you feel under the fender, some parts of the lip are double lined with steel or something -- so those parts didn't cave in so easily, but we were able to roll them pretty far up into the fender well so that they wouldnt cause any problems. I would say that they are pretty close to 180º. Otherwise, for the most part, we made sure to roll as much as we could. It only took us about 20 min to do the rears as well!So no more damage to my $200/piece nitto rears
Aereon, put your black saleens back on!
