Speedometer and Odometer not working!

Speedometer and Odometer not working!
Got a 2002 GT with a 3:73 gear. There is the speed ratio correction kit thingy on the tranny that corrects the speed. Not that that may have anything to do with this, but the speedo stopped working and the odometer does not change and after a few minutes just goes to dashes.
Any idea?
