Question Headlight bulbs

I have a 00 GT. I just purchased H3 luminics bulbs for christmas to myself.. Well I got them and tried to put them on, but the bulb is completely different. I did not know they had so many different bulbs. Bad on my part before checking the actual bulb attached to my vehicle before ordering on-line. Well AM was great and I thought i found the correct light bulbs, so they told me I didn't have to pay for the new ones and didn't have to send the old ones back. That was great. I get the new ones (9005) and tried to put them in today, and again they are the wrong f*ing ones. So now I have two kinds of headlight bulbs that do not fit my headlights. Has anyone else had problems trying to figure out the correct light bulbs or am I just retarded? : )

i think on the AM website they have a guide for choosing bulbs. maybe this link will work
http://www.americanmuscle.com/bulbid.html
I believe that the bulbs you're looking for are the 9007 series

For future reference, when you're navigating around the AM site, make sure you select '99-04' when looking for parts, it'll show the parts that will fit generally

Thanks for all the replies. I figured it out when i pulled the bulbs out of the headlights.. Now I have 2 different sizes of Luminics at home, sitting in a box. FOR the AM posts.. I clicked 99-04 but they gave me like 8 different options, and when I was choosing I thought they would all be the same, since I clicked 99-04. Guess not. Bad on my part. But I ended up just buying some Slyvania white lights, got tired of ordering on-line. They look good. I will post a pic later in the week.

curious question.

i know my crappy lenses are fogged up to hell and back, but I think I'm still on the original stock headlight bulbs themselves..

is it worth it to shell out 30 bucks on some luminics *and if so, which ones ? just the hyper whites?*

or should I save some cash and just go buy some sylvanias at autozone?

I had the sylvanias, and they sucked. The quality was barely better than stock.

I'd say just go on American Muscle and get a set of new HID ones, they're like what? 150 bucks or so?

If the plastic lenses on the lights themselves are all hazed/fogged, installing new bulbs wont look as good as clear lenses. It will look different, but not as good. Theres ways to buff the lenses to make it look almost new, google it
