New transmission in the car, I will be running either this week or next week to get the first set of slips for the season. Weather has just started to clear up out here. I hope it holds out

Turns out the "stock trans with 47k on it" that I got when I did the swap was really a heavily modified/molested trans from some sort of forced induction car that the guy sold before it let go on him. When I pulled it apart, it had a mix-match catastrophe of a shift kit, screwed up valve body with pieces of rubber stuck in the passages, smoked clutches, smoked OD band, metal shavings, a couple helicoils, and some other misc. crap done to it.

Long story short, I picked up a new transmission and installed some internal upgrades, did a shift kit, and bolted it up last weekend. It feels like a whole new car. Now I have a spare case that is basically useless other than doing mock-ups and stuff......but at least the car is back in action and feels stronger than ever!

That's not bad at all Kugz, considering your 60ft. Shoot if you can pull a 13.3 @ 106 with those Sumitomos (i had those before my 555R's) then that makes me wonder if if i could touch the 12's with my stickier tires and better gearing.

I'll know really soon.
